Default Trim Tab Switches on Shifter

Does anyone know how much it will cost for the parts to add trim tab switches to my Gaffrig shifter? I'm thinking of a winter project. Seems like it would be a lot easier to operate the switches without taking my hand off the shifter and reaching for the switches while trying to hang on and watch the water at the same time.

Thanks, Doug

I have the switches in the knob vertical and it is hard to tell port from starboard and I am going to switch to the drive trin in the knob and add on bracket to mount the trim switches horizontal-flat so that port is port etc.

If you have One hand on the throttles and the other on the shifters how do you steer the boat ?

I have my tab switch on the throttle and trim on the wheel, check with Gaffrig by Livorsi, they have a wide variety of switches.

I had right around $100 for the parts from BAM to add the switch to my throttle. I prefered the OEM look versus the clamp on. My levers were Kiekhaffer, so not sure if there would be any difference as they look the same.

I was thinking of a setup that would mount to the front of the throttle lever vertically so that you could operate the tabs with your index and middle fingers. I have the drive trim mounted on the shifter already. I have thought about tab switches in the steering wheel but I think I would prefer them on the shifter. I guess I could just look at the Gaffrig catalog I have and see what they offer. Thanks.

We have them. Call 800-376-1616, or 954-463-9988.
Be sure to Mention you are from OSO, so you get the OSO courtesy discount!
They come single or dual switch, (right or left handed for single switch).
It is front mounting for the dual switch, allowing for either configuration.
Black or White.
Note, if you have the new Billet controls, the dual will not work, it is for front canted lever only.
Call for more details on your specific needs. Thanks.
