Default Sucked up plastic bag in one of my low water pick-ups, Help!

Port motor started running warmer than normal today. Shut it down and found a chunk of plastic bag sucked in the low water pick-up. I pulled it out but i think some more may be in the line. How can I flush it out. I hooked up the fresh water flush in my engine compartment, but the flow coming out of the pick-up was less than the starboard side, I am concerned some plastic may be up there. How far could it get, I just changed the impeller 3 months ago.
Thanks, Carl

I would pull off the hoses going to the water pump, and the pump to the oil coolers. I would then look for pieces stuck in the coolers or water pump. I would also back flush from the water pump to the drive. You may have burned up your impeller and houseing so check that out as well.
