Default Fuel Guage?

Went for a run this past weekend and the fuel guage is not working. It worked perfectly when I put the boat away at the beginning of November????? The guage is Gaffrig II and it is stuck on empty. Any ideas on where I should start?
Thanks
Ty

I would call Livorsi. My 260 has Faria's and the fuel gauge stopped working at the end of the season and for 8 bucks they replaced it. I e-mailed Faria direct. Gaffrig II's are from Livorsi.

That's the best part of Faria guages...they're guaranteed for as long as you own them

ground out the fuel sender w/ the key on and see
if the needle in the gauge pegs out if it does
it's the sender if itdoesn't its the gauge

Does the sending unit have a float? you may just need a new float on the unit... but if it is a resistance unit... you will probably need to replace the whole thing. Just a suggestion as to where to check. Good luck.

Ground the fuel sender like Doller Offshore said, but also check to see if the gage has power.

Check for good ground to sender and godd ground to tank. Any contact corrosion may cause it to read empty.
