Default NE 1 use an aluminium manifold in SW?

I found a nice hi rise intake manifold from edelbrock only its aluminium people to me I could use it if I flush after every use in Salt Water!! I trailer the boat so it doesn't see any significant amount of time sitting in the saltwater!! Never overnight!! How long do you guys thing one would last?? 1 year 2, 3...
Does anyone here use one?? I have gotten different opinions on this subject!!

I say it is worth the weight loss and appearance even if you have to replace it every 2 years.
