Default Arneson rocker plates/tabs

The Arneson tabs sound like a good thing. I just cannot seem to find anyone anywhere that has ever used them. That is, outside of the Arneson people.

If they work as advertised, why wouldn't they be on more boats ?

Any input here. I for one could use a little more bow lift.

I know someone that put them on a 25' checkmate Convincor. His assessment were they added stability at a cost of speed that is similar to trim tabs. His boat would run nose heavy in the water with the plates activated, which is the intention. He was trying to cure a instability chine walk problem.
