I'm looking for the serial # for any late model 454 Mag MPI that came from the factory with the updated "Mercury" decal on the intake, manifold as opposed to the old "MerCruiser" decal. I think this change was made in 1999, but I'm not certain. Mine is a 1998, but I want to order the new decal to update the look of my motor. I need a serial # for the newer 454 Mag MPI to look up the correct decal part#.

Can anyone help me with this? I ordered decals and got the right outdrive decals, but the one I rec'd for the intake manifold is still the old "MerCruiser" decal.

Marc at BAM was not able to help (surprisingly).
