rebuilding question
I need some advice.....
Scenerio.....I had my motor opened up and they found that water got into the cylinders.
Question....If I am not ready to put a Whipple on it, but will do so in the future, is it ok to have the motor built to be Whipple ready? I think I'm talking a new cam, pistons and whatever else needs to be upgraded. What will be the drawback to doing it this way?
Anyone know offhand what a cam , pistons and the rest of the parts that need to be changed out would typically cost?
motor is a 540, Merlin block with 9:1 compression.
thanks
