Alpha I.D. help . . . . . again
hey guys. a few weeks ago i put up a thread on helping me identify an alpha gen1 lower so i could go out to one of the marinas i do biz with an dig one up. well i decided to pull my bad one an take it with me to match up and this is what i found.
the drive i found is dimensionally the same as the one i took off my boat except for a few differances. mine has a squared off cavitation plate and this one has a rounded off one. at the tip of the input drive shaft (where the splines are) there is a spring loaded pin that sticks out about 3/4 of an inch and mine does not have this. those are the only diferances i could find. is this still an alpha drive? thanks
