merc-cathode corrosion protection?
have a 1998 bravo 1 drive . boat in fresh water , use only merc. zincs with the addition of a prop nut zinc ( looks like bullet on end of prop nut ) have a stainless prop , imco hyd. steering and drive shower (all stainless materials). is the stock merc. cathode system capable of protecting the out drive with this much extra stainless items? ( added drive shower + imco steering to stock drive ). if not what other protection could i add?

Re: merc-cathode corrosion protection?
Exchange the Zincs for Magnesium if they are not already. They are the deal in freshwater. Otherwise the answer is yes. I stay in the water and the Magnesium anodes have stopped all corrosion
