Default Alternator squeal

Just rebuilt my 454 mag efi and took it for a test run. I have replaced all the belts and during the run, I get a squeal originating from the alternator. Is this something I should worry about? I have had this alternator squeal for over 3 seasons now. This motor is a gen 5 with v belts. The alternator seems to work just fine. If the motor is continually reving over 2500 rpms, the squeal seems to go away, only to return after the rpms come down around 1200. Any input would be appreciated.
