Default need help with oil reservoir leak

Drive trim pump, old style plastic reservoir, keeps leaking. Just bought a new one, installed with the old but in good shape O ring and the old screw on the bottom, even put some gasket sealer to be safe........as soon as I filled it with oil, it started dripping again from the O ring area AND the bottom screw!
Has anyone else had and fixed this problem?

I would try a new o-ring and a new screw with appropriate gasket. Can't tell you how many times I've re-used OK-looking o-rings & seals only to find out they weren't "OK". Are you sure the o-ring is seated properly?
