Looking for Twin-Carb box for Banks System
I am looking for a dual-carburator box that Gale Banks used to run in his Stage V Offshore engines.
See this page: http://www.bankspower.com/on_the_water.cfm
for what I am looking for: specifically the box the carbs are sitting on.
I currently have a 560c.i. BBC with an upgraded Stage IV system (big turbos, 4 in. exhaust) running through a single Holley Dominator, that's been punched out to 1400cfm. As a result, throttle response is terrible, and the motor is only making 1050 h.p. when Gale was making 2000 h.p. on a 454. It seriously needs more air!
I am hoping to find someone willing to sell the carb-box I need. Alternatively, if someone knows of a person or company that has expereince making water-cooled boxes for mounting carbs in a marine application, I would appreciate pointing me in that direction.
Thanks all, and any and all info is appreciated. There must be a lot of these things floating around. Someone must have one they are not using and want to sell!
