Low Water Pickup Problem
Hey Guys. My boat has Bravo 1's equipped with WPM nose cones and low water pick ups. I keep having seaweed plug the holes and this past weekend it burned up the impeller at the start of a Poker Run!!! Has anyone else had this problem and know a fix besides plugging the low water pick up holes and drilling the std. holes back in? I know some will say put a sea strainer on but this would not of helped since the sea weed plugged the hole where the outdrive and Gimbel housing meet. Thanks for any help someone may have.

Re: Low Water Pickup Problem
Run a new water pickup off the bottom of your boat. This is how most of the race boats and high performace boats are done. I run a single pickup off the bottom of my hull, this works out nice since, we usually boat in shallow sandy waters, I never have any problems with sand or lake grass now.

Re: Low Water Pickup Problem
I,m with Krumbsnathcher, I got tired off pulling my exhaust apart and cleaning out sand every other weekend cause my dumb ass likes to park in sand shallows and the kids like to fish in the muck for the little blue gills.
