For speed I'd stay with the 3 blade. For better handling and getting out of the hole if you carry alot of weight go 4 blade. What GPS speeds and rpms you running know. Do a search for Baja 272 on this site and look at what others are running. Also you might talk with Houston Prop to see what he recommends. I know he's done alot of Baja's.

What motor do you have?

What do you want from the boat? Cruise, top end, acceleration, etc. What type of water conditions do you boat in? There are several options for props, it all depends on what you plan to do with the boat.

I think your tach might be off a bit.

Bajaboy, small world Been to good ole York, Neb. a few times anyway the 23 acclerator design which is a Mirage plus or Mirage conversion of ours which will put the boat in the 68 69 mark for top end and still have a decent holeshot,If you have alot//// four or more people on board all the time I would go with a four blade prop.in a 22 pitch stock or labbed 24 pitch ,labbed, meaning thinned out and tuned to your boat.let me Know if you want to try a four blade ,I will send one out to you to try..search this section for MIRAGE CONVERSION TO ACCLERATOR and you can read up on the Acclerator design of ours.
