Default Fix for leaking fender...

I have 4 of the large Taylor brand fenders with the valve that uses a sports pump to inflate. One of them had a slow leak in the valve area that caused it to go flat after a day or two. I connected the inflater valve to a can of Fix a Flat and shot some in there. Turned it valve side down in the sun for an hour or so. Seems to have sealed it up just fine.

I wonder if the valve is warrantable? In any case shipping and being without one of them would be a pain. I think I damaged it myself by not lubricating the needle valve prior to inflating. It did push in rather hard on the first one I inflated and the rest of the fenders I put a little vaseline on them before inserting the needle.
