HP500 carbs on a 450HP/454vortec JETS??
Why do the #1 and 7 corners have the big jets. I can see #2 and 7 those usually being the leanest. But seems one is short runner (on my oval Dart single plane) and the other is long. Also need some advice. I changed jets from 75 and 81 prim/88 and 93 sec to 73 and 78/86 and 90 because of rich condition and I thought less cam etc would need less jet. Am I on the riht track? I know, read plugs. My motor is 9.25:1 roller cam 224/234 at 50 and 527/544 lift, Rev exhaust(like gils)vortec heads(oval and about 230cc)small valves(stock). Picked up 4mph with one of these and my old 365hp 454mag before it blew up like the other old one. Must be somewhere around 450hp. Can't run more than 30 tot advance on the vortec. Thanks
