Default What's the deal withthe 524 CID...

from flatlander racking and RPM? Is the a acceptable stroker kit for a 454? Is the rod/piston ratio all wrong? Dose a person have to fill the block on say a 1996 vortech 4 bolt 454?

Their math seems to be wrong. A 454 .060 over bore with 4.25 stroke is a 496. A 4.375 stroke gets you a 510. The only way to get more is to go to a tall deck block. Then a 4.5 stroke gets you a 525 but i didn't see that on their options.
