I'm trying to diagnose a possible fuel system issue. Does anyone know what the stock fuel pressure specs are for idle and WOT on the 575SCi ? I have modified this motor with small pulley, intercooler but I'm trying to determine what the stock base fuel pressure was as a starting point. I would like to believe that Merc must know what pressure is best for the injector nozzle spray, starting, ect. I now have a aeromotive pump and bypass regulator with larger lines. The programmer set the base pressure at the regulator at 30(engine off) and boost referenced. So it runs between 28 at idle to 34 wot. Is this enough pressure for ideal performance on the nozzles? Is it a problem that the aeromotive regulator isn't really rated to regulate below 30?
