Need help reading codes on 1993 Chevy Truck and Diagnosing Problem
Ive got a 1993 Chevy K3500, 454 with a 4l80e.
The truck idles great, under light acceleration its great, but when you put the pedal down, it slows down. I was pulling my boat up a hill the other day, and it pulls better when you back off the gas. I had the codes read today and they were a code 32, 42 and 43.
does anyone know what codes those are and what to fix. AND does it sound like the problem I have?
I thought timing, and checked it, right on. I thought fuel filter, changed it, same.

43 is the knock sensor
42 is the ignition control
not sure what 32 is.
43 is probably showing up as a result of 42 or 32.
The ignition module could be bad, it could be a bad connection to the ignition module but then I would think the truck would not start, if the module is good then I would guess there is a problem with the ECM.

Catalytic converters, when they are bad, allow vehicle to idle fine and light acceleration. To check converter, remove O2 sensor, and try drivinig vehicle without the sensor installed. If it runs okay, converter is stopped up.

the fuel filter was just replaced.
After looking at those diagrams, i may have caused one of those codes. I was attempting to set the timing, and was unplugging the wire (at the time i wasnt sure which on) to set it. I did disconnect one of the wires in the ignition control. that may have set the code.
What am i looking for when checking the spray pattern? Ive always leaned towards fuel and was hoping the filter fixed it but didnt.
It was strange when i changed the filter, i didnt pull the fuse for the fuel pump to let the system bleed down, and it didnt spray all over me. it did leak out gas, but no pressure. maybe the fuel pump is the problem
also, ive heard the tps sensor can be a problem. how would i test it/adjust it.
it seems to be narrowed down to egr valve, fuel pump, and tps sensor. should i just change all of those, or where should i begin?

Baja, I've got an AutoTap tool to quantitatively read the outputs of the different sensors that are in question. I've also got a correct fuel pressure gauge. Call my cell, 512-426-2562 if you need to look any deeper.
