Exclamation Mercury 500 Exhaust Help

Purchasing a new boat. Do not like the through the Transom Exhaust. Want to use side exhaust. The only problem is with the 500 motor it sits to close to the transom to use the elbow. What is the intermediate pipe that comes out of the heads called and does Mercury make a shorter verison of it. Thanks

Kleptow

Kleptow,
Call CMI. They can make a set of pipes for you. They make the headers for Merc. on the 500efi's. 920-722-7084
