I have 2 imco extension boxes just laying around i was toying with the idea of putting it on my 260fx. Has anyone tried an extension box on the 26 ? Pro's and con's..

might be interested in buying them if you don't use them, have a 38 awesome and need more bow lift

Extension boxes usually raise the X dimension. On a 26 Awesome the X needs to be lowered. I found a 3inch spacer to be best. My Buddy has a 4 and loves it. If you could use the box without raising the X ,I would be interested to know how it works. Keep us posted!

yea thats where im at 3in spacer, I was curious to see if any one had tried it. but im really happy with the set up i have now. I was seeing 97.8 out of it with 700hp

donot move the x and use the box !futher back u get the prop the better.cleaner water!
