I guess I should place a phone call to Raylar.

Corey, I'll give you a call this weekend. Will you be around?

Thanks.
Sorry I have been out of town. Give me a call. This thing needs a good home. 817-319-7352.

Baja fresh, saw you on the Pantera site. Seems you are considering various boats. All are great. I owned a 24 Pantera and loved it. Space was an issue though. Just bought a 25 Outlaw and got it last week. It has a 500 HP motor and hydraulic steering. Had it out this past weekend for the first time in 3 - 4 foot swells on Lake Erie and the boat was incredible!!!! Took everything and landed sure footed everytime. I am very impressed. Also owned a 27 foot Excalibur flat deck and would take the Outlaw in rough water even though it is two feet smaller.

The 25 Outlaw is conisderable larger that the Pantera and I still feel cramped. Pantera has a 7 foot beam and the Outlaw has a 8.5 foot beam. Just some things to think about....... A 28 Pantera with a single would be cool as would a larger Outlaw. ....

Boy do you have to do some more research. There are 04's out there with 496 HO's for low to mid $50's. 496 mag's are a great motor but do you really want to run in the mid 60's. I myself enjoy running closer to 70 mph. Go with the HO's.

I'll try to give you a call this week but I've been pretty busy. It's 9:15 PM and I just got home from the shop. I'll be around this weekend though.

I agree about the Pantera, similar but different. Coming from the coast and a 28 Cigarette, I really want a boat that has that big water capability. I will probably haul it back a couple times a year for an ocean run, most will be Mead / Havasu. All the lake guys tell me how rough Mead can get when it kicks up, "up to 3 footers!" I want to be able to laugh at them as they try to get back to the ramp without getting swamped while I throttle up for some wave crushing runs! Either boat will do the trick (and a big power 28 Pantera would be ideal but too pricey) but I think I would like the extra room in the Outlaw. I need to actuall see and ride in a 24 Pantera to make a desicion.
