Congrats!
Boat looks great.
Hope the questions I answered helped also. I just remember that when I was buying ours new there was a dealer in Georgia that had a 2000 left over with 500 carb motors that was selling it at what he called his cost of $133,000. I did not like the colors, and there was not even the pump out head option on the boat, and that did not include a trailer either.
Good luck

Re: Ive got a 36 Outlaw on the way!
Came from the factory with stock 26's. Would run 71 MPH all day long.
Had the props labbed by Houston Propeller, he had to do then twice and got them VERY thin but saw 74 on the GPS, best WOT speed.
Slung a blade off one of them at 5000 RPM and sold the good one and started over.
Bought a stock pair of Merc 28's, and man what a JOKE. Merc has really beefed up the thickness of the blades because they were having problems with them slinging blades off and these are 1/4 inch thick. They are so miss matched that the throttle on the starboard engine is an inch farther ahead of the port when both engines are at 4000 RPM.
Got a set of new Merc Labbed props from Bobby Todd (Craola Crazy) and they are SWEET. I can turn them up to the rev limiter, but I am not seeing any more speed. About 71 to 72 is tops. At least they are matched and balanced and the trottles are equal again! The slip factor has greatly increased, and I think we are getting into the rev limiter enough that it is retarding the timing.
Plan to do some work on both sets of props this winter and have the rev limiter bumped up to 5500 RPM on the computers.
I would love to put extension boxes and shorties on the boat, but not sure I really want to invest any more money at this point. Got to check out the new 35 first!
Good luck

I agree on the hydros, my 32 was way better everything with hydros, but we tried them on my buddies 02 33 with the raised X and they would not plane it, I dont know if they ever changed the X on the 36's but if they did it would not have been till 02
