The "school bus" one that was dropped off the fork lift? Did they ever fix it? What's the deal. Doc, I know you have the scoop!

Tank,

Word on the street is that they are still waiting on the super glue to dry!

Honestly they are keeping this one very quiet, but based on what little I know I would say you will never see that boat again. Kind of hard for a manufacturer to sell a damaged boat. Baja is not the kind of company that would try that or would want the liability.

Big Lose for everyone.

On a brighter note I hear we will see the new 35 Poker Run boat at Lake Travis next month with an AWESOME paint job called "Poker Face". It should be running VERY strong.

Doc

Won't be the first time I'm been smoked.

Should be nice seeing a stock Baja running those speeds!

Doc, why dont they just repair and use as the company poker run boat? It wasn't beat up THAT bad was it?? I think that was my all time favorite Baja. That is very sad news.

The 35 sounds like it will be killer! Do you have any pics yet??

It has 525's is what the word at Miami was.
Also heard down there that the 40 was just paint damage and they are repainting it and tweaking it a little before they sell it.

I posted several pictures if anyone wants to go to that thread. Talked to three people that were there, none worked for Baja and they confirmed some serious structural damage. One of the folks was High Tide who lives down there and really knows boats.

It fell on it's side from about four to five feet up and from the cracks that are visible in the pictures I know I would never want the boat regardless of how good the repairs are.

its deff more than paint damage. saw the boat in Dec. when we were at the factory (it took some snoopin but we did see it for a moment) Also i think that the insurance companys involved are draging their feet, at least thats what some baja employees told us....
