Chart Plotters who has one?
Anybody else looking to buy a new GPS Chart Plotter? I'm looking for one to use up on Lake Erie and trying to find out who has what and if they like it/hate it etc? Right now I'm looking at the Garmin GPSMAP 430s or 530s, they are brand new models coming out this year. Anybody heard good/bad?

Baja 38 Special
|
I have the Lowrance 337 and it has been great. Has a five inch screen and just barely fit into the dash of the 38 special.
I would have liked to go bigger but this one works very nicely.

Garmin 276C and 3006C.
I have used both Ray Marine and Garmin and like the Garmin much better, and prefer the blue chip 10 to 1 over the C-Map.
Get the largest screen you can and get color.
They make life easy.

Yellow sides, then a little orange and red transom. Right now I keep it at Pier 75 but will probably move it to Port Clinton this summer since I took a new job in Cleveland, plus that way it will be closer to the islands.

Where is that picture on the left taken at? It looks like this place my cousin likes to hang out at that we call 'Party Island', I think technically its called North Cape, over on the west side of the bay right after you get out on the lake coming out of Toledo.
