Shouldn't see any chine walk on a 29. Mine doesn't do it & I'm running 86 GPS MPH right now & expect about 7-8 more out of it when I get it dialed in.

Your boat has a raised x-dimension from Baja. They started playing with the x in the early 2000 models. So your drives are not too deep. If they were deep you wouldn't have the speed nor would you have what you think you have in chine walk. A 29 won't chine walk with factory power. They just aren't fast enough. They don't ride far enough out of the water either. You are just being effected by the condition of the water you are running in. You can compensate for this by setting the trim tabs at neutral & tucking the drives a little.
Are you running 3 or 4 blade propellers? Are your propellers spinning in or out?
I'm here to help!

Spinning out is the most stable way. Takes less trim also to get the nose up.
