Spring Upgrades Finished!!
Many thanks to Eddie Young at Young Performance for his hard work and direction in putting together my upgrades over the past couple of months! Also many thanks to Eric Betty at EB Marine for his expert SS welding skills and use of his equipment!
Upgrades include going from EMI Thunder headers to a new set of CMI Unitubes, installed the new Hardin Marine serpentine system (more on that in moment), added a oil temp guage, reworked the oil cooler set up, ditched the Corsa muffler tips and added new Eddie Marine stainless tips, and lastly but most importantly we essentially rewired the electrical system!
According to Hardin, their serpentine kit had not been installed on a set up like mine with the older B&M 250 blower. It did require a lot of machine work, and a great deal of ingenuity on Eddie Young's part to make it work properly.
The bottom line: picked up 600 RPM and 7 MPH at the same 5.5lbs of boost as last year! Top speed was 79.5 MPH at 5600 on a low humidity 80 degree evening with 1/2 tank of fuel and 2 peeps in the boat spinning a stock 26p Bravo prop! I have a labbed 28p that I am going to try out, but I am not sure if it will add or take away.
Here are a few pics!

Yeah, i was there (in the rain). I am not sure if I will make it this year or not. The date being so close to the 4th is making it hard for me, not to mention all of the holiday traffic that will be on the lake both of those weekends around the 4th.
