I did a lot of shopping around on 25's last year. Assuming clean boat with a 502 and including a decent trailer I think around 35K - 40K is fair. Knock off a few thousand for a 454 mag.

Keep in mind, a dealer cant give you retail for your boat, as they need to resell it also.
Dont forget you save on taxes trading it in also.
That being said,,, I think they are still a bit low, get them uo to 25k,,,then the tax savings will put you in fair range on yours.
Tell us about the new boat though,,, make sure your ok there to.

no taxes in NH.....I do understand they need to re-sell boat but before I would insult someone with 21k I would tell them we don’t want a trade?

$21K is reasonable. Here is a 99 24 pantera for $22.5 http://adcache.boattraderonline.com/6/3/6/91086136.htm
Granted, thats a hell of a deal, but competition also dictates price. 35-40 please, you can get a 28 for that price.

I had no intention of selling my boat or trading it in, when I saw another boat that I wouldn’t mind owning this all came about, I told salesman just to treat me fair on trade?….also, some of you are saying 21-25 is a fair price….are you kidding me? Who is stupid enough to take that?

i had dealers all over the place on mine. Anywhere from $30,000 to $42,000. It was depending on how bad they were going to pants me on the other end. It seems Fastboats.com was about the fairest on both ends
