I heard they were trying to lift the trailer & boat together with a fork lift when it dropped. Obviously the boat transom wasn't strapped down to the trailer.

If I remember correctly the 40 that was dropped had twin 1075's did'nt it? I've got an engine bay pic somewhere.... The one I posted has twin 496's. What a waste with that power.

There was a thread about the dropped boat when it happened. Fell off the fork lift, hit the trailer and then slammed into the ground. From what I remembered there was some pretty harsh internal damage that was not worth fixing (stringers/bulkhead/etc.) Boat was dropped from pretty high up. Last I heard around the time it happened it was not to be fixed.
But maybe irishtornado is right and it was repaired. I would like to think so. But then again, if it was repaired it'd be talked about whenever it was seen and it would be on the boards from time to time I would htink.. That thing was a MONSTER with the 1075's, 6's and the "school bus" seating. Bad mo-fo!
