They better get cracking if they are going to make the '09s. Don't the new model years start showing up around August?

Does anyone have confirmed what models they are continuing to manufacture, and what models they're dropping?

I believe it will be the 35 OL, 26 OL, 278 Per, and then demand from dealers will dictate on down the line. I don't think their has been a decision not to make a certain boat, but lets just say their is demand for some models and no demand for a few others.

I guess the real question is who wants the first 35 OL 2009 model built by Fountain, its going to be BADAZZ!!!!!!! I promise lighter and faster.

I talked with the Fountain camp Yesterday. The are waiting to hear back from the state of NC to determine for sure when they will start producing the Baja's by Fountain. I have heard the same model info as posted above with the addition to keep the 247 and the 277 Islanders.

As for lighter the key difference will be resin core instead of balsa core.

Yes they will build them the same way they do the Fountain brand. They will no longer have the in gel graphics. I hear that Fountain and McLeod do not get along so you can probably expect to see an interior from in house that looks more like Fountain.

I bet Reggie will find all the speed the hull has.

Not implying there is. Actually Fountain has come a LONG way in the last couple of years on their interiors.

Personally I like the McLeod but that is just what I am use to. I like the look and they fit me very well.
