I can also tell you that is was so rough that 3 people got ejected from a sea-doo boat & were in the water for 2 hours before we found them. The wind was blowing so hard they couldn't catch the thing.
It was rough, if I get water comming over the nose of my boat at idle the rollers & believe me whatever you call them if they roll along & break over like surf they are big & no they ain't whitecaps, the water was BIG!!!!
A friend had his 38 Tempest out & it had water coming in it too.
The water was stupid big & stupid to be out on!
No I wasn't up against shore either!

I researched Cheney lake. That place is tiny.........less than 9,000 acres. Not even 1/10 the size of Texoma.............no way those were 4ft waves.

I can say I know 3-5's in a 29OL. Thats why I traded up to the 35OL. I used to get soaked or pounded in the ocean. You can run fast for inoy so long. After about a hour I would slow up but then the trips seems to drag on.
Jason you have done a grat job with your 29OL. A few hicups along the way but your having fun ...Right ?
