Thats list price. Can that boaty be had for 75-80K.
I know when pwr boat lists tested Baja boats. Example May 2006 pwrboat 2006 Baja 35 pkr run edition with 525's was listed for 300k. In real money Ithink it could be had for 240k at the time.

So a 26OL is 99k list maybe 75k real money????
I just thought that 288 Sun is a decent deal for a quality boat in that size..

While Raylar is a great builder, he doesn't cost anywhere near what a merc 525 efi cost!!! so no you are not comparing apples to apples, list on a 26 OL with 525 is more like 119K in Baja its a 35K upgrade, you need to price a 525efi in the Sunsation for a comparison. As for buying for real money, Baja's are discounted like never before this year, I doubt you will find dealers discounting anymore especially with 09 prices going up. 2008's are going to be the deal of the decade this year.

Wink Red Apples to Blue apples?

That's the whole point of a Raylar HO525 upgrade , it does not cost as much as a Mercury Racing HP525, like $12-15K less even with headers. Thats why its getting so popular, HP525 performance for a lot less cost! As for reliability, there are hundreds out there running all over the world, some with over 400 -500 hours and still running beautifully! You don't want to compare a stock 496 engine against a Mercury Racing HP 525, you want to compare a Raylar HO525 against a Mercury Racing HP525. Same reliable performance with a lot more coin in your wallet!

Best Regards,
Ray @ Raylar

I guess I should mention we have worked with Raylar from our Central Boat location (Smith mountain Lake), we would be happy to have a 496 Raylared in a 26 Outlaw!!! Just can't do it until you purchase the boat since it would void the merc warranty. If you really want to split hairs, you can get a 26 OL with a 496 mag and have it Raylared and really save some coin. Put you way below the the 100K mark.

Sincerely

WILL

BTW our Raylar results have been great.

Like it was broke before the owner ever put in the water, and the person it was purchased from doesn't answer their phone. OK I need to stop before I get in trouble. Those dealers are gone.

Your boys Walter and Curtis were good to work with. If I was in the market for another I wouldn't hesitate to call!

Thanks

They are both great, Walter can do damn near anything, I seen the young guy, replace a drive like a nascar stop, to get a guy in the water for a Poker Run. I walked out to tell the customer hey you may not make the run, Walter turns around and say "WHY" I finished it already. I was like OK, DAMN.
