Get it to a dealer and let Sea Ray see the issue. They are handling all warranty claims for Baja by Baja.

I would advise against doing the work yourself. If there is any further issues with your boat they might not be to happy to help. Make them 100% responsible. Never volunteer your services. It will come back and bite your ass. Sounds like your boat is pretty new.

I would definitely not touch that boat yourself if it is still under warranty. Once you do the warranty will be voided.

Just talk with the dealer and be honest about your concerns. I'm sure they would try to work with you if you present it correctly and keep cool.

a few years back...like 7 years ago I had a stress crack in my Fountain. Nearest dealer was 6 hours away. Fountain sent a rep and the rep made araingments with a shop close to my home. Fountain dealt with the shop and the shop got paid by Fountain. I only told you about not doing it yourself because I had a friend go through something with Merc and it was living hell. they voided his warrenty and treated him like a crapbox. Best of luck. I know how much it sucks having something new thats broke.

I cannot stress, how important it is for you to take it to the dealer you purchased it from!!!! Then do exactly as they request!!!
