is it boggy coming out of the hole? i put a 23 on my mate and i lost MPH over my 4 blade, but for giggles i tried a 25 and it top ended better, cruzed about the same and had almost the same top end, but came out of the hole slower.

im hoping to put my labbed 24 4 blade on my dads boat befor the season is out, im thinking thats the prop to have on that boat.

You know I was concerned that it might but it doesen't bog out of the hole at all - she gets on plane just the same. I can go almost full throttle now without the rev limiter alarm going off.

I do wonder how a 4 blade would perform but am really pleased with this set up for now.

my dads handles much better, planes out faster and cruz speed went way up but top speed with the 22p it was touching the rev limiter. thats why i say the 24 lab should be mint

I have same boat and can get no where near that......something must notbe right on mine for that.....plug change maybe? I get 63-64 MPH with both 24P B1 and 23P M+.....and it takes quite awhile to get the last 1 or 2 out of it.

Phillip; I know this post is a few months old, but what rpm were you seeing at WOT with this prop? I just barely touched 4800 with 3/4 fuel, light load and by myself. GPS was 63.6mph; flat water, cool temps on fresh water. Definitely sending this one to Brett for some tweaking.

Can't believe the difference between the 25p and the 23p Mirage plus. The 25 M+ "felt" more like the Rev4 in terms of holeshot and cruise. I liked it!

Good point Doc. Maybe I should define flat; in this case it was just a little wind chop (4-6 inches) with the wind abeam. What I'm seeing with this boat is the wind itself has just about as much effect as the waves. If I'm running against a 20mph wind in a good chop it's actually a few mph slower than it is in perfectly flat, calm water. Downwind I pick up several mph. Go figure...

Was liking the performance out of the 23p Rev until I tried more pitch on the Mirage +. Now I'm waffling about which one I like best. Good thing my prop locker is full.

What RPM with the 25P M+? I bought one and end of season last year and have not tried it yet. If I could get 5000-5050 with the 23 M+....I should be able to get 4800-4850 from the 25 M+??
