Need heads

Anybody have a set of BBC rectangular port heads the want to part with? Casting # 14097088. They can be bare castings, used or complete.

hey 3030,

I just may know about a complete set, they're still on the engine but he has a set of aluminum heads I will be helping him install before the spring. PM me to remind me and I'll check on the casting #, they're on a 42 excalibur, he had to replace a set on the other engine mid season last summer

Thanks, I don't need them now, I'm putting a fairly stock 502 together over the winter.

For what it costs to get a set of iron heads gathered up & right you can buy the Eldebrock aluminum marine heads.
When I did my engines I was going to have the iron heads rebuilt with larger valves, have the springs set & all that good stuff. I priced the Edelbrocks & was within a few hundo of what the rebuilt ones cost so I went that way.

Well, I picked up a brand new set of 088 castings for $500 shipped. I have the Manley valves and springs. Going to clean out the ports a little and add roller rockers. I will have the setup I'm looking for a little under a Grand.
