2000 40 Outlaw only 88 Hours!!!

If the boat runs anything over 80 I'd be surprised.

I'd like to know what kind of money would buy it. The last one I tried on went for $73k or so & had an few more hours on it.

Turn the props in, do a light cabin and possibly slap the drives on boxes and it would carry the bow. I'd much rather have a staggered set up then trips....even a standard side by side set up. That 3rd engine is just useless.

The price is pretty high for a 10 year old boat..
500's, Stellings boxes, 88 hours
Around $85K would be where it probably sells.
I have to admit, I like the pure all white. Its like a blank canvas.

We have all had this discussion before.... But here goes again...
Triples are much less expensive over time than higher HP twins...
Mine has 496 HOs (3) It runs 6 mph faster than the twin 525's and is even with 575's. I use 1/3 less fuel do to the motors NOT working as hard for the same performance. This translates back to less maintenance over time as well, especially in drive wear.
Yes it costs $60 more per year in oil and filters, and couple hundred more for the pump, but that is pennies compared to the cost of a drive.
When it comes to docking, the triples rock!!! The third drive compensates when it is needed making parking a breeze!
The other thing is the Bling factor, except for those shiney blowers, a triple will always grab a bigger crowd at the watering holes.
The down side of a triple is props.... You ALWAYS need 3 and playing gets real expensive quick!
Unfortunatly those that "Know everything" about triples (especially those that have never even owned a boat) have killed the market in the last year... Triples are a great buy, don't be afraid of them, once you have had a threesome.... Its hard to just go back to the status quo...

what speed does your boat run with the 496's? I am curious as to what this boat runs with the "light weight" stringers, 500's and extension boxes....
