A guy I ran into a couple yrs ago is a pilot that lands on our lake all the time in his seaplane. He took the wife and I up in it separately and let us each fly it. What a rush landing and taking off from the water. Anyways, 4 of us went out for a photo shoot one afternoon and we all exchanged photos. I have over 300 pics from both water and air.

The pic on the ramp is of the wife ready to roll!

A couple more.

Yeah, it was a blast. Especially when he would land in the water and stay in the gas and run like a boat.

He also flies Mellancamp everywhere in the company Jet. Super nice guy, but the DNR and him had a disagreement 2 yrs ago about landing on the water. DNR said he needed a lake permit sticker on his plane. The pilot said he checked into it and am exempt. But the judge sided with the DNR afetr 2 tickets in 1 week. Was a sight seeing the DNR stop him right in front of our slip then and cite him. You could hear words being exchanged.
