i would go 25 or bigger if you can swing it!!!! i am also young 22 we have had 3 on the pad in the cabin 1 on the cabin floor, 1 on the cockpit floor and 1 one the back seat! just snapped the cockpit cover on the the people out side were just fine! IF you look hard you will find a good 25+ at the right price. also don't let some one jack you around being that you are young (dont know your age) i was 21 when i bought mine and had to deal with that. just know what you are looking at or get someone that does to go with you. good luck

my 2 cents
did u get a survey and all that jazz when you bought your boat?

to bajarick...wish i had 50-70k to spend

no i did not! i have lots of coustmers that have baja and other go fasts. thay helped me out and showed me what to look for and what to be wear of when buying. who did the maintance, were was it kept, motor hours, last drive service, stress cracks, paint and other gelcote problems, salt water use,etc

i bought it right be for the everything whent to cr*p in the boating market so i payed top doller for it. but frome what i can fined and was told there was only a few solid yellow gelcote 25' outlaws boats made. i know of 4 so i am not to mad at that just could have had a bigger one if i would have waited 6 months. 2 summers of use and 180hr that i put on it . i have had to put new fule pump reglator and cooler, water serculating pump(was bad but starting to leak) gemble baring and exhoust bellow. not bad for a 2000 and 470hr. pluse a wild hair for put 4 cotes of clear on the boat it didnt need it but looks brand new now!

I have a 98 272 with a new 730hp motor built by Schumaker Performance. The boat will go 80+. The hull has less than 200hrs. and as I said the motor is new with dyno time only. If you are interested call me 317-679-4453. Mike

i am 26 now, bought my boat when i was 24.

I sleep in my cabin ALOT (with a girl), and have had buddy's sleep on the cockpit couch no problem. and the floor.

most ever.
1 on the sun pad.
1 on the couch
2 in the cocpit floor
me and girl in v-birth.

have fit 2 small girl and me in the v-birth but I was tight.

when i was buying i was going to buy a hammer, and then stepped up and bought a 252. BEST CHOICE I have made. way better.

I'd say no more than $28K....all depends on how motivated the seller is. He has to remember he is up against alot of repo boat's. Granted his may be in better shape but alot of people right now are looking at price only.
