98 Baja Gaffrig gauges to newer Livorsi..is it a pain?
Im looking to replace gauges in my 25 outlaw, and was looking to go Livorsi. I guess the newer ones use a Deutsch plug.
The original ones I have use the older style connectors with a nut. There's more wires than I thought there would be. IT is a pain or should I go with the same gauges as whats in there(assuming they are available).
any input is appreciated are the senders compatible?.. would suck to have them not work cause they dont match up.

Redid mine with the plugs from the old nut style. It wasn't too bad. Each gage has an input, power, light and ground. So if you don't screw up the input the light, power, ground are really easy. Just take your time, label everything and make sure you have an extra pair of hands when you solder and shrink wrap. The wire bundle is huge and intimidating but once you really look and see what is what not bad.
