Freshwater Pump Issue
My freshwater pump (that provides water to the sink and head) on my 36 Outlaw is not holding pressure. It runs about every 15 seconds. Is it time for a new pump or could there be an air pocket cause this?

depends on the pump. it could be time for a new pump or a rebuild of the seals. or you may have a leak in the system. easiest way to trouble shoot would be to disconnect the outlet side of the pump and put a short peice of hose on and let it prime up to pressure....then see if it turn on again or holds....if it hold then its in the system...if it turns on then its the pump...

"It runs about every 15 seconds"
if you have a leak, you'd have alot of water leaking out and an empty tank.
If no water, then you just have a pump that needs rebuilt. (the kits are cheap) It isn't holding pressure and it is simply bleeding back into the water tank= no water leaks and no water level change. Close off the valve at the tank and see if the pump stays off as the pressure won't be able to bleed back into the tank.
