you could try a 27 mirage to see if you can spin it to 5100 and if so send it to Bret at Bladdes well buy it from him he has a exchange program, that way you can see what works he may tell you to try the 27 and also try a REV 4 25p. I would think your motor would want to run 5200 to 5400rpm. also if you feel after trying the props your 26 was best he could labb it get you more speed and rpms. I found that my 26 b1 prop worked better when I put my 2'' shortie on ,I got mid 80s and needed a 28p. my boats a 240 sport with the outlaw wind screan custom seats 650 hp. I have had for 20yrs now. my other boats getting a new motor GELLNER 1100, I got talked out of putting it in the 24. I almost bought a 250sport like yours in 89 my friend owned a BAJA dealership so he has a 21 yr old 250 sport with a 100 hours on it mint 454 365hp looks like it just came out of the shop. it has not been in the water for 15yrs . I know in 1990 they added the swim plateform in lenght of the boats so it became a 270 sport. so he and another friend bought the 270 stickers but when they went to rent a slip they would get stuck paying for a 27 and I would pay for a 24 I thought that was funny. but they are a roomy boat compared to my 24 that 6'' in the cockpit area made it feel bigger and the other 6'' in the cabin and height seemed bigger. you did a nice job on your boat. I know both of them useda 23p mirage with there 365hp 454s. I used a 25p mirage with a stock 390hp 502 back in 93. so give bblades a shot if you need there phone # look in the prop section you will see posts by bret. good luck.

I have a labbed 26pitch 4 blade. I am hitting 5150rpm, and tops 73mph averaging 71-72. Bblades is sending me a 3 blade 25 pitch to try out. He thinks it will help solve my problem. I just want to be in the 75-77 range. Im also running my timing at 33, and im wondering if I should advance it a bit.

Might have to try changing the timing. I bet I could get an extra 30hp out of it.
