Default Stock Clarion Stereo Question

Hey Guys:

I have the stock Clarion stereo (CMD5 I believe) in my 2008 26 Outlaw. It has the iPod connection in the glove box (mini RCA) but when I connect the iPod and select the stero input to AUX I only get music in the cabin speakers. Nothing from the cockpit speakers. In the radio and CD modes all is good. Any ideas ? (the dealer has looked at this twice now with no luck)

Thanks,

Steve

Fader in Aux mode is set all the way to front? About the only thing I can think of.. Unless the radio has a defect.

Thanks Nighlife I checked that and it makes no difference where I put the fader in AUX mode with iPod connected, I only get sound from the cabin speakers. The fade adjustment works fine in the Radio and CD mode.

You have to pull the radio mine was doing the same there are 2 sets of rca's that are jumped of the aux line the wires are all just hangin in there I am sure some of them came unpluged. If you want you could give me a call and I could explain it better without writing a book! Just let me know and i will give you my Number.
