Default Anyone know this twin 900 blown 02 Outlaw???

Boat is damaged, looks like it ran into something in the front. Blown 900's according to description. Its at a salvage auction. Anyone know any history on it?

Why the missing HIN?

Doesn't look like a theft recovery, since everything is still there. Ground off because of being a salvage?

NO it is higly illegal for anyone to mess with VIN numbers, no matter who you are, insurance, individual etc. I have no idea why the VIN would be ground off, very flashy boat and not easily hidden lol. Im sure someone here would love to own it, im just wondering what happened to it, Major money went into it at one point.

Or it was found before the stripdown took place?

As a builder, you have to provide a "hidden" serial number that's location is on-file with the USCG. I know where to look, but cannot post that information.

PS. WE CAN FIX THAT INTERIOR RIGHT UP!

What a cool boat. Looks like a fairly simple fix. Too bad it's got 900's. Those things are maintenance hogs.

Looks to be the boat of the former owner of www.fulltiltmarine.com

He had the same engines in a Sonic and swapped them.

"45sonic" here on the board will know for sure. He used to work there and has had hands on the boat if same boat.
