Default What about 2000 H2X

Planning on trying out a 2000 H2X this weekend. It looks in great condition. Anyone have any advice on problems with these to look for ? It has 282 hours . 7.4 L engine.

Its a fast hull, the cuddy is really small, you have to get down low to get through the door. With a 310 HP engine it should still run close to 60MPH.

I had a 2000 H2x with the 454 mag engine. We loved it kept it for 2 years and traded for a 25 Outlaw.

I have a 99 and have no real complaints with the boat. The hull is fast but if you are looking for a boat to upgrade I would go with something a little more stable at high speed. It gets wild when you climb over 80. Running 65 to 75 feels great though.

I bought the boat. It was in great shape. I can't believe how small the hatch opening to get in the cuddy is. So far that is my only complaint.

This boat was stock. The only way it will see over 65 will be when it is being pulled behind my truck. It came out of the hole really well with 3 medium to large people and 3/4 tank of fuel.

Default h2x

I have had my 2000 H2X since new, 454 mag lasted 8 years running 69 GPS on a light load. Motor was still fine, 800 hours, but pulled it out and replaced with a custom 583, 80 GPS now, and I'm sure there is some more MPH in there...
Starts to get light at 80 MPH so I am upgrading trim tabs.

I love this boat and hope you enjoy yours!
