first off, i am running an 88 240 sport, in mint original condition. i am the second owner, my good friend is the orignal owner.(he watched it come out of the mold)i am thinking of trying a new prop to increase my crusing speed. currently turning a stock 23p mirage. thinking of going to a b1, maybe a 22p.a friends 97 24 outlaw is running a 24p b1, but he has a 454 mag efi. i have a 7.4 w a demon carb,and imco exaust, otherwise stock.i see 59mph on gps using the 23, cruise at 45 at 3500rpm. any gains to be had w a prop change? been cruising this site for a few years, but just registered. any imput is much appriciated,as there are many people on this site well versed on this subject...

What rpm are you running at WOT? and the 3 blade is going to act better on your boat with the drive deep in the water. my bravo 1 prop likes to lift my transom a little making it more squirly than my 3 blade that carries the bow well and has a higher top speed.
