maybe 1991 Baja 240ES???
I just purchased a 1991 Baja, advertised as a 240ES. All pictures I have viewed of this model of Baja online show an integrated fiberglass swim platform. I have a aluminum bolt on platform just like an outlaw. I am wondering where i can go to identify this boat? Also wondering where the numbers are located on the hull to identify it? Any information would be appreciated. Thank you

i thought from '90 on they had intergrated platforms?? mines a '91 and its intergrated. are you sure you have a '91?? look at your hull ID number on the outside of the transom, the last 2 digits would be your model year

Ok, does the hull ID number start with 0D? If so it is 0D484298. Is there a way to break this number down like a auto VIN number? I was also told the engine is different. The tag by the starter and the carburetor cover numbers do not match. I'm pretty sure it is a newer engine but was wanting to get the details on it, horsepower, year, that kind of thing.

wow thats a weird ID # on yours??
both of my baja's the last 2 digits matched the model year #
the tag by the starter will probly give you the most info, and usually theres a paper type tag on the top of the bell housing, those sets of #'s would get you the most info about your motor if its still stock
