I leave the bolts out of the upper back seat so I can take
it out whenever I'm working on it..... just lift it out and
set it up front.

They both have there little pro's, & con's. The 30ol has a little larger (flat) delta keel, and the 29ol has a smaller rounded keel. The 30 has a sharper trailing radius than the 29ol. (I had my 29 transom sharpened and it seemed to help speed, and porpoise) The 30 has a little larger size Strakes, and Chines with more negative angle on the chines. The running surface tapers from 24 deg. at the transom to 25-27 deg. on the 29 near the bolsters, and the 30 is a constant 24 degree running surface. The 29 has large 3/4" hooks outside of the outer strakes, but they should be running dry at speeds over 70.
One dislike on the 30 is the plastic fuel tank and the molded baffles in it. They do not seem to work as well as a aluminum tank with full (aluminum) baffles like the 29 fuel tank. The 30ol has the largest "plastic" fuel tank than any other Baja model, and when the tank is around 1/2 full, the fuel (slosh) can cause a weird reaction in certain hard turns. It is a lighter tank though.

Thanks XT. The 29s are definately coming down to reasonable prices. I was on a 33 on the weekend and I sure do like the space. My only complaint on my 25 is the cockpit room or lack there of. Just not sure there will be enough more on the 29.

Theres a noticable difference in cockpit room between the 25 and 29. Nothing like the 33 but still plenty of room I think.

I am seeing more and more 29s under $40k now and wondering if a 33 on a trailer can be bought for $40k in the northern states close to Ontario. I assume the 33 would run similar to a 29 with either the 454MAG or the 502 MAG. I have seen a few 33s with 7.4s but figure they would be a 55mph boat. I want to stay at the 68+mph. I am seriously looking.
