If I tried to run on waves like that in my little 235, everything in the cuddy would be rearranged for me.

The boat goes fast enough.

My boat rides perfect in 1 to 2 foot waves, it likes a north or north east wind. I love my boat. I boat it last fall and this is the first summer on it.

The boat is faster then I thought I would want to go. It fish tails at high speeds, unless i play with the trim tabs alittle

The boat does between 80 and 85mph, i have had it up to 78, and that IS PLENTY FAST ENOUGH for me

What are k planes? a larger version of trim tabs?

it only gets alittle squrrilly at 75mph and up, it moves just alittle bit

will my back end ever spin out and will roll over like in the movies?

it is a little bit of a wierd feeling at 75mph.

i havn'tyet master the trim tabs and the out drive yet, if i put the trim tab down enough and the out drive trim up enough to gain my speed back so i hit 80 to 85 mph, will that help the situation out,?

what do k planes actually do?

compared to trimtabs?

Yes, K-planes are bigger, stronger tabs... when used right will stabilize chinewalk... littla tab to keep boat under control... adds length to the boat basically in the back..

google them..

Default rev plate, do you have any suggestions

I bought a 24ft outlaw 1997 w a 502 mag ho and supercharger ( it does 80-85 mph). The original owner, took the rev plate off. He told me that if i jump the boat out of the water alot the egine will over rev and blow up.

He took the rev plate off for higher rpms and I guess to increase the speed.

I am worried about blowing the egine because it is 2009 almost brand new engine.

i don't take the boat out of the water alot.

My question to anyone is,

Will I lose alot of speed if I put the rev plate back on?
How much speed will I lose?

The boat does between 80-85mph. The original owner had it gps at that speed

If I do lose alot of speed, how can I gain it back?
