Default Burnt wire conduit, wires

Was changing the plug wires on my boat this weekend, and found this (melted conduit, wire insulation just starting to melt - luckily not melted through). View is starboard side, looking down at exhaust area. These are the wires in the harness that go down to the starter. They obviously run too close to the aft end of the manifild.

Gonna put some new conduit there or heat resistant wrap, and somehow secure them for separation.

Might wanna check yours....
