I did a carb change too. with both I went from 76 to 83.2 with a b126, 5100rpm to 6000. I needed a 28, but all my stuff was stolen boats been in cover it since 07. keeping the 509 as a back up to my 572 blower motor, for the saber 28. my hull has a lite weight motor cover with scoop. and a fairing. handing was better, still chine walks over 75, you have to saw the wheel fast. aka its a drivers boat. unless the full hyd steering is hook up. then it shouldn't walk.imco case is much better than the merc.

Art,

Is your 24 a Sport with the windshield, or the Outlaw with the aluminum windscreen? I need a windshield for my 220 Sport, and they were the same as the 240 Sport. Heck the windscreen would also fit, but I would have to paint it to match the older white gelcoat.
